I’m Maarya, a creative enthusiast with a small list of finished work and an even longer list of unfinished projects just waiting to be completed and shared with you my fabulous reader!
My earliest memory of making was when i was 7. I used giant cardboard boxes to make mini cupboards to store all my crafting goodies. Since then I have been lucky to try my hand at a variety of creative pursuits including:
- Drawing/sketching & watercolour painting
- Papercrafts such as origami & kirigami
- Occasion makes like card-making (including my own wedding cards!) and favours
- Fabric and yarn crafts: crochet, felting, weaving, embroidery & quilting
- Calligraphy (traditional, brush pen)
- Woodcrafts like spoon carving
- Islamic geometry & Arabic Calligraphy
Yep, i’m a jack-of-all-trades and this is my journey to discovering what i’ll become a master of… God willing.
